Spirituality of Menstruation Workshop supports Wom(b)en (and everyone who attends) to explore, engage, and locate the Inner Intuitive Nature-informed Biological Navigational Compass. In a human female body, this compass entrains with the Ovulation-Menstruaion rhythm of her Womb. In a male body, this rhythm is more remote, and available only through conscious slowing down, and paying attention. This workshop creates the opportunity for you to explore, engage, and understand the ebbs and flows of this compass, and recognise it in the Physical, Emotional, Psychological, Relational, Creative, and Spiritual experience of life. By locating this Changing Wheel of Nature, and its waxing and waning influence on our Biology, we can begin to re-inform our Self-Care practices and learn to align our movements of activity and rest with this organic rhythmic Wheel of Nature , and allow it to carry us through the changing light and darkness across daily, lunar, menstrual, annual and life cycles of the days, and nights of our life. As we begin to do that, we start moving into the center of our life from where we are free to Begin re-newed in every cycle. This compass also, sheds light on the rites, ritual and festival map of our earth ancestors - everywhere.

THE NEED

Spirituality is a distorted word within the Male-Informed Man-God oriented Patriarchal narrative. It houses within it the split of Matter, and Energy, the Split of Body-Mind-Emotions versus Intelligence-Soul. It makes us believe that Life can be lived in this Split of Separation of Spirit (Energy) and Matter (form). That somehow, Spirit (energy) is superior to the Body (Matter), Spirit (Energy) can be chosen over the Body (Matter), Spirit (Energy) can be included and Body (matter) excluded, and the belief that Spirit(Energy) is pious and pure while the Body(Matter) is Impure, Dirty, and Sin(sensation) causing. This Split is the foundational basis of all Religions, Civilisations, and Modernisation. Within this Split, Nature, Earth, Earth-informed tribes, and their way of life are seen as inferior, and impure leading to the modern man's need to manage, control, colonize, and civilize it's nature. Human Female has had a heavy fate for being the connecting link between Nature-Earth and Man. Through her Womb Biology, all of Human life she births is in-formed and woven into this Nature and Earth's cyclic primitive rhythm. By exerting dominion over a Wom(b)an's instinctual Autonomous Self-Authority over her body, her womb, and her Wild Instinctual knowing, Patriarchal civilizations have instilled fear, disconnect, shame, and forgetfulness of this rhythm. This forgetfulness furthers the sustenance of patriarchy. To shift Patriarchy, Wom(b)en need to Remember this rhythm in her phenemenology.

THE WISDOM PHILOSOPHY

Spirituality of Menstruation workshop is founded in the truth that everything is interconnected. We are cycling on the Wheel of Matter-ing into Life and Death on Earth. Our Earth is revolving on its own axis while moving around the Sun in relationship with the other planets of the Solar System. Earth is also, being circumambulated by its own personal Moon causing Waxing and Waning of her Life-Giving Waters that support Growth and Development of life on Earth. This rhythm is in everything - inwards and outward. This rhythm of Life (Day/Light) and Death (Night/Dark)is integrated into the Womb Biology of a Wom(b)an orchestrating the Wheel of Matter-ing into Spirit, and Spiriting in Matter through the Menstruation-Ovulation-Birthing rhythm. By Knowing, Locating, and Living this rhythm, we are able to walk the Authentic Spirituality of Earth-Life. The Various Layers of this Wheel of Menstruation are:

Daily 24-hour Circadian Biological Clock
365-day Annual Seasonal Karmic cycle,
30-day Lunar Waxing and Waning Mind cycle
Stages of Wom(b)an life cycle, and
Bleeding-Ovulation cycle

This workshop will support you to navigate everyday life by gaining Self-Awareness, building Self-Care practices, and remembering Self-Authority and Self-Autonomy.

THE INGREDIENTS

We are cosmic organic energy incarnated in this body.

We are made in the image of Cosmic Matter, and Cosmic Energy. We walk this cyclic path of Life - Death - Life in every aspect of organic life. Whether we like it or not, whether we choose it or not, whether we want it or not, the underlying truth is that We are interconnected with everything. Everything is dynamic - forever in flux, shifting, changing, moving. There is no dullness here. Everything is recycled, re-newed, and re-birthed in its time. Everything has to return whence it came, and re-turn again. The Forever and Always Here and Now is not Matter, or Energy. That is the Matter. That is the Energy. That holds, witnesses, and supports the Matter, and the Energy, and yet, is beyond it. Recognizing the Matter, the Energy, its contents, its rhythm, and That which is beyond and weaves it all together are the Ingredients of this Series.

The most basic format of this Series is taught over six days with 2.5 to 3 hours each day.

Day 1: Introduction - Knowing Nature in, as, of me.

Day 2: Life Cycle - Re-storying My Beginning and End.

Day 3: Menstruation - Intuition of the Womb

Day 4: Lunary Legacy - I have a Lunar Mind-Psyche.

Day 5: Seasonal Wheel - Harvesting My Purpose

Day 6: Circadian Rhythm: Embodying the Cosmos Daily.

The most advanced format of this Series requires a residential beginning spread over four days, observation spread over the year, and then a residential gathering.

The Spirituality of Menstruation series is continuously evolving, and growing in its offering with the development of my Emotional Maturity, Expansion of my Knowing, and as I age through my life cycle gateways. Truth be told, the companionship of Menstruation has been comforting, challenging, and vulnerable in its experience and embodiment. This Rhythm has taught me patiently the interconnected pulls and pushes of Nature, the ebbs and flows of Energy in Matter, and given me a glimpse of That which holds it all together. As I have slowly learned to stop my inner resistance, fight, and war with my physical, and mental-emotional body, I have received the in-sight of this Wisdom beyond my comprehension. Now I see its (Her) footprints everywhere. I recognize its (Her) brand - within and without.

I am able to decipher the rites, rituals, festivals, and ceremonial maps cognized by Elders and foremothers as codes to inhabit this rhythm. Knowing this rhythm in me - again and again - has supported me to locate the ordinariness of Being Human on Earth without needing to be Big or Small, Higher or Lower, or God(dess). I am able to allow and include my life just the way it has come to me.
